Yobs hurled rocks from a bridge on to the A55 cracking the windscreen of a lorry.
The shocking incident took place just before 5pm on Monday while the truck was being driven along the expressway near Gaerwen, Anglesey.
North Wales Police say a group of youths were seen on the flyover between Gaerwen and Llangefni and have appealed for witnesses.
Investigating Officer PC Mark Lee said: “There was potential for serious injury here so we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anybody throwing stones onto the A55 to contact us.”
Garry Stewart, from the firm that owns the lorry, posted a picture of the damage on Facebook.

Lorry windscreen was cracked after stones were thrown from bridge between Gaerwen and Llangefni

He said: “Luckily the windscreen didn’t smash and the driver managed to control the vehicle before pulling over.
“The driver was in shock as he was acutely aware that the actions could have easily resulted in a fatality.”
