A cannabis cultivation was found at the address by officers
Officers from Gwent Police conducted a search warrant at an address on Wednesbury Street at around 11.50am on Friday.

A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said: "At approximately 11:50am on Friday, July 8, Gwent Police conducted a search warrant at an address on Wednesbury Street, Newport.
"A Cannabis cultivation was found at the address by officers.
"Enquires are on-going."
