Police have launched a murder inquiry following a serious assault on a man who has died nearly two weeks after the attack.
Timothy John, 47, was taken to hospital following the incident at a property in Morgan Street, Carmarthen, on 27 June.
Dyfed-Powys Police said he died on Saturday.
A 21-year-old man from Carmarthen has already been charged with attempted murder.
