POLICE have established a crime scene in Carmarthen following reports of an ongoing incident.
A lane off Russel Terrace linking to Coronation Road has been temporarily closed to the public while the investigation continues.
Officers are also making door to door enquiries in the area.
A witness told the Journal: "Something has happened in the garages off Russell Terrace. The police aren't letting anybody through the lane and are taking photos."
Yellow crime scene markers were seen in the vicinity while police forensics staff collected evidence.

A police spokeswoman said the force could not yet reveal details of the investigation, but released the following statement: "Dyfed-Powys Police has responded to a report of an incident at Russell Terrace, Carmarthen, at around 10.50am this morning (Friday, July 1).
"Police remain at scene and house to house enquiries are on-going."
