FIREFIGHTERS are trying to determine the cause of a fatal blaze in Caernarfon.
The body of a man, believed to be in his 80s, was discovered by fire crews at a property on Penrallt, Saron, before 4.50pm on Tuesday.
Two fire crews from Caernarfon were confronted with a heavily smoke-logged building and used a hose reel jet and two sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the fire.
North Wales Fire and Rescue investigators have today (Wednesday) attended the burnt-out property to establish how the fire started.
