POLICE are appealing for information after a van was destroyed by fire in Llysfaen.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was first called at 07.55am this morning (Thursday, December 17) to a van on fire in Bron y Llan Road.
One crew from Colwyn Bay attended, using one set of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze, which fire officers said is believed to have been caused deliberately.
The van was 100 per cent destroyed by fire. A spokesperson for the North Wales Fire and rescue Service said nobody was injured.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police confirmed a call was received at 8.19am from the fire and rescue service informing them of the incident.
Anyone who has information about the fire can call North Wales Police on 101.
