The turkeys were priced between £50 and £80 each and other meats, including a substantial amount of beef, were taken.
“They [the thieves] don’t realise what they have done,” Steve added. “They have let down the families who are expecting turkeys tomorrow.
“Staff have been crying and a lot of them are still upset.
“We are trying to replace it for our customers who have been loyal throughout the year and the last thing we want to do is let them down on the most important day of the year.”
The farm shop, which sells high end foods and sells organically grown fruit and vegetables, will be bringing in replacement turkeys for their customers.
Steve said: “Whoever did it has obviously planned it.
“They have taken down security cameras, it’s something we didn’t think was going to happen.”
South Wales Police confirmed they are investigating the burglary which happened sometime between midnight and 5am on Christmas Eve.
They are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to contact them on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 quoting reference 1500473072.
