A police and fire investigation into a blaze at a Rhyl workshop where a body was found will continue this morning.
A total of 27 firefighters spent more than six hours dealing with yesterday’s incident at the premises on Vale Road.
Last night, the fire service confirmed that a body had been found inside the building and that an investigation was under way.
Homes and businesses were evacuated at around 5pm and the road closed until shortly after 11pm as crews from Rhyl, Abergele, Colwyn Bay and Holywell tackled the flames.
Most engines left the scene at 9.45pm but one crew remained until 11.20pm to damp down.
A refuge centre was set up at Rhyl High School for residents affected by the blaze.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said this morning: “An investigation with police is ongoing at the scene.”
