A man has appeared in court this morning charged with assaulting a police officer when his leg was broken.
Jordan Victor Moran, 26, previously from Fairbourne, Gwynedd but now of no fixed abode, is charged with causing grievous bodily harm to PC Daniel Owen while resisting arrest after an incident at yr Eifl flats in Pwllheli , Gwynedd, on Saturday afternoon.
Moran is also charged with causing criminal damage to the rear interior of a police car.
Prosecutor Diane Williams told magistrates at Caernarfon that the police were called to the flats at 4.45pm after residents reported a disturbance.
Ms Williams said Moran had behaved in a threatening manner towards PC Owen who had injured his leg after falling.
Moran was remanded in custody until he will next appear before Caernarfon Crown Court on January 4.
