A total of 117 cars have been damaged in Newport - 105 of them in one night and a further 12 the following day.
Gwent Police are appealing for information following the incidents which took place on Hawthorne Avenue and the surrounding streets in Somerton between Sunday evening and Monday morning and in the Heather Road area on Tuesday morning.
A 30 year old man from Newport has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
