A MAN has admitted robbing a supermarket in Waunarlwydd at knife-point.
Spencer Alexander Pitman, of Clas y Bedw, Waunarlwydd, pleaded guilty to a charge of robbery at the CK store and to possessing a bladed article— namely a knife — in a public place on December 9 when he appeared in custody via videolink at Swansea Crown Court today.
Pitman, aged 28, was further remanded into custody ahead of another hearing on January 8.

The robbery was the second armed robbery at the shop in months — on September 27 CK's, along with the nearby Lifestyle Express shop, was held-up by Ross Michael Hopkins.
Thirty-three year-old Hopkins, formerly of Ravenhill but latterly of Cil-y-Coed in Waunarlwydd, was subsequently sentenced to seven years for robbery and possessing a firearm.
