A police officer accused of rape will stand trial at Cardiff Crown Court in May.
Jeffrey Davies faces historic sexual offence allegations relating to his time serving as an officer for South Wales Police .
The 44-year-old from Pinecroft Avenue in Aberdare denies the charges against him.

During a brief hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday, Judge Daniel Williams set a trial date for May 31.
His trial is expected to last for at least a week.
Davies will remain on bail until his next hearing in March. He is required to stay at his home address.
