North Wales Police has launched a probe after the offensive slogans were found near the entrance to the Bangor Islamic Centre on the High Street

Racist graffiti has been daubed on the wall of a mosque sparking a police investigation.
The words: “ISIS dirty Muslim scum whites rule” were found scrawled on the Bangor Islamic Centre on High Street yesterday.
Members of the community took to Facebook to express their disgust.
A post in the People of Bangor Community Group said: “Yesterday someone wrote this on the wall as you enter the mosque in Bangor.
“Funny really, it was only a few days ago the mosque got together with the rest of Bangor to feed homeless and needy people on Christmas day.

“Yes we do not celebrate Christmas, but there’s nothing wrong with putting food in peoples bellies... Whoever did this, I invite them to the mosque to see what actually happens in a mosque and what we do.”
Bangor councillor, Nigel Pickavance commented: “This saddens me.
“What an act of idiocy. Some very narrow minded fools within our community.
“As the organiser of the ONE BANGOR event I thank you and all that pray in the Bangor Islamic Centre for helping our campaign.”
“15,000 residents, 12,000 students and one idiot!”
Arfon MP, Hywel Williams added: “This is abhorrent behaviour and has no place in the Bangor community.
"By standing in unity with our friends at the mosque lets show the perpetrator for what he/she really is - ignorant and very misguided.”
Plaid Cymru councillor, Vaughan Williams posted a picture of the graffiti on Twitter and wrote: “Saddened to hear about this in Bangor.
“Hatred is the bastion of the weak.
“Happy New Year to my Muslim friends.”
A North Wales Police spokesman said: “The incident is believed to have happened sometime between midnight and 6am on December 30.
“House to house enquiries are on going.”
Chief Inspector Mark Armstrong from North Wales Police said; “This incident is under investigation and we are liaising with the trustees of the centre. I would appeal to anyone who has information to call police on 101 quoting crime reference S199115.”
