This is the litter-strewn scene found after travellers left a site in Flintshire.
Around a dozen caravans pitched up on a grass verge close to Redrow Homes’ St David’s Park base on Sunday.
The company, who own the land, confirmed on Tuesday it had taken legal action to evict the convoy.
The travellers left the site on Thursday.
Local resident Dan Wayland took pictures showing bags of rubbish and litter strewn across the floor as well as tissue paper left on a nearby footpath which appeared to have been used as a makeshift toilet.
The grass verge was also left rutted with tyre marks.
The land has since been cleared up.
Redrow Homes confirmed the group had now moved on but did not wish to comment further.
It was the second time in three months traveller had set up camp in Ewloe – with more than 20 caravans and vehicles occupying the old Unilever office site in April.
It is understood the latest group was previously camped on waste ground next to the Go Outdoors superstore in River Lane, Saltney, last week.
