BRITISH Transport Police are appealing for information following the attempted theft of an e-reader from a train travelling from Swansea to Cardiff.
The incident took place just before 11am on Monday, January 4.
Investigating officer PC Ryan Penny said: "The victim, a 22-year-old man from Cardiff, boarded the train at Swansea and fell asleep not long into the journey.
"After he woke, he realised his Kindle and charger were missing. He then saw a man walking through the carriage with the charger hanging out of his pocket.

"When the train stopped at Port Talbot, the victim confronted the man and asked him for his property back. He initially denied having the Kindle but then handed the device back to the victim, along with the charger, before leaving the train."
PC Penny said following enquiries, officers have managed to isolate CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with this incident.
The man is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, around 6ft, of slim build with short, dark hair, and was wearing a long green coat with large pockets, jeans and black boots.
"This person was seen with two other men, one of which was wearing a red coat with the other in a grey coat," PC Penny added..
"I believe he will have vital information which could greatly assist our investigation – who is he?"
