A MAN in his late teens was arrested when police executed a drugs warrant in Bangor.
North Wales Police officers seized a quantity of what is believed to be controlled drugs as well as associated paraphernalia from an address on Holyhead Road on Thursday, February 25.
One local man in his late teens was arrested linked to the supply of Class A and Class B drugs.
It was part of the force's continued crack-down into the supply and possession of controlled drugs in Gwynedd North.
Sergeant Andrew Davies at Bangor Police Station said “The warrant was executed at an address in Holyhead Road Bangor where controlled drugs were recovered as well as drugs related paraphernalia.
"One local man was arrested and following interview was bailed pending further enquiries.
“Our enquiries continue but we are eager to hear from anyone who has any information about the supply of controlled drugs in the Bangor and Caernarfon areas to contact Police or Crimestoppers.
"I am confident that with the help and support of the public we can effectively target those few individuals who sell drugs in our towns and cause the most harm in our communities”.
Anyone with information regarding controlled drugs in the county area can contact North Wales Police on 101 or alternatively anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Alternatively, contact the control room direct via the new North Wales Police live web chat service.
