Swansea,South Wales - Teacher rape trial: 'Accuser made allegations because she felt used'

Daniel Gravell denies raping a woman he met on internet dating site Plenty Of Fish
THE woman who said a Swansea teacher raped her after they met on an internet dating site has been accused of making the allegation because she felt "used" after they had sex.
Daniel Gravell is alleged to have attacked the woman in his house after they had met on matchmaking site Plenty Of Fish and agreed to go on a date.
Gravell, aged 34, of Elm Crescent, Parc Penllergaer, denies the charge, saying the sex the pair had was consensual.

Today the alleged victim took the stand at Swansea Crown Court to give evidence.
She told the jury the pair had met at a pub in Swansea in October 2014 and then, after brief trip to a supermarket, had gone back to Gravell's house.
The woman - who cannot be named for legal reasons - said Gravell told her his television in the living room was broken, so they went to his bedroom to watch TV instead.
She said that after some kissing - which was consensual - Gravell then began groping her, which she did not want. After repeatedly telling him "no", she said Gravell pulled down her tights and raped her on the bed.
The woman said that after the incident she got dressed and drove a friend's house, from where the police were called.
Under cross examination from Peter Rouch QC, for Gravell, the woman confirmed she had not tried to leave the bedroom when the defendant started groping her, and had not shouted or called for help.
The barrister asked her: "What stopped you from getting up from the bed? From leaving the bedroom? From getting in your car and leaving the house?"
The woman replied: "Nothing."
Mr Rouch said: "Did you feel like you had been used? Were you upset at what you had done? What I am suggesting is that everything that happened on that night happened with your consent. After Daniel Gravell said quite abruptly he was going to bed and it was time you should go, you took umbrage."
The woman replied: "Absolutely not. That did not happen."
Mr Rouch also put it to the woman that the dating site she met Gravell on - Plenty of Fish - had a "sleazy reputation".
She agreed.
The trial continues.
