WITNESSES are being sought after a woman was hit by a car in Wrexham.
North Wales Police’s Roads Policing Unit has issued an appeal for information after the woman was hit by a red car in Kingsmill Road, Hightown, on Friday.
The incident is believed to have happened between 6.30pm and 7pm near the Farmfoods store.
The car did stop briefly but then continued with its journey.
The driver is described as being a tall man of stocky build with a shaven head and possibly of Asian appearance.
The woman sustained a leg and shoulder injury as a result of the collision.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: “Any witnesses are asked to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting reference number U018237.
