Swansea,South Wales - Weapons and crack cocaine seized in police raid on Swansea house

POLICE have recovered knuckle dusters, cash and what they believe to be crack cocaine in a swoop on a house in Swansea today.
Officers executed a search warrant at a house on Long Ridge in Mayhill this morning following information from members of the public.
A man aged 26 and a 17-year-old youth were arrested and are currently in custody at Swansea Central police station.

Police say they recovered cash, mobile phones and weapons from the property, along with a quantity of what they believe is crack cocaine.

The search warrants were executed on the back of information from the local community.
South Wales Police sergeant Steve Pritchard thanked the community for coming forward with the information that led to the raid.
He said: "This was a very successful drugs warrant which has resulted in a quantity of drugs and other items associated with the supply of drugs in the Swansea area being seized.
"I would like to thank the local community for providing us with the information which has resulted in these arrests.
"We will continue to act on the information which the communities of Swansea continue to provide us. This operation has meant that a quantity of drugs, cash and weapons are kept off the streets of Swansea."
