Stephen Prosser, 43, also denies wounding with intent to cause GBH in court hearing

A 43-year-old Prestatyn man has denied wounding following an alleged stabbing at Prestatyn on January 4.
Defendant Stephen Mark Prosser, of Lon Brynli in the town is accused of wounding 24-year-old Billy Moore, also of Lon Brynli, and possessing a bladed article – in this case a kitchen knife.
He denied wounding with intent to cause GBH, a wounding charge, and the knife incident.Prosser, who appeared at Mold Crown Court via a live link from Altcourse Prison in Liverpool, was remanded in custody pending trial in June.

Mr Moore was taken to the major trauma centre at the University Hospital, Stoke on Trent, with stab injuries after the alleged incident.
At the time Christine Riley, who has lived on Lon Ceiriog for three years, said: “I did not see what had happened, but I heard that the person stabbed had been seen running down the street with blood on him.”
Eyewitnesses said up to five police cars were on the scene as well as an emergency ambulance and the Wales Air Ambulance helicopter.
