Anglesey,Holyhead,North Wales - Man flees empty handed after attempted robbery at Holyhead shop

A MAN fled empty handed after attempting a robbery at a Holyhead shop.
North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident at Mill Bank Stores Holyhead at about 5pm on Wednesday, February 24. 
The white male in his 20s entered the store and demanded the till be opened before fleeing towards Vulcan Street.
Detective Sergeant Richard Griffith at Llangefni CID said  “At about 5pm yesterday afternoon an attempt robbery took place at Mill Bank Stores, Mill Bank, Holyhead when a white male, aged in his 20s entered the store and demanded the till be opened.  
"The alarm was quickly raised and the man fled empty handed in the direction of Vulcan Street. 
"Fortunately no one was injured during this incident.  
"I’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw any suspicious activity or knows anything about this crime to contact Police immediately.”
