A 14-year-old boy was threatened at knifepoint before his mother’s car was stolen.
Police have appealed for witnesses after the incident in Merthyr Tydfil .

The alleged robbery took place in Galon Uchaf at around 9.20pm on Thursday in Ninth Avenue.
South Wales Police say the teenager was approached by a man while sitting inside a white Ford Fiesta, which was parked on the road, after his mother left the car for a few minutes.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: “The suspect was holding a sharp object, which the victim believed to have been a knife, and threatened him to get out of the car. The suspect then drove away in the car.

“The boy was not hurt.”
