A mum-of-nine launched a tirade of foul-mouthed abuse at a security guard as her two young children looked on.
Candy Lavelle called Melanie Powell a “f***ing b****” and a slag during the outburst, which was watched by her youngsters aged eight and 10.
Lavelle, 47, of Fairfield Avenue in Rhyl , was at Llandudno magistrates court where a member of her family was appearing. When Ms Powell asked her to be quiet, Lavelle launched the verbal abuse.
When the courtroom doors were locked to stop Lavelle returning after disrupting the proceedings, told Ms Powell: “I’ll f***ing have you.”
At Prestatyn magistrates court today she pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour on December 1, and then two further public order offences arising from an incident at the Fiorenzo Cazari hotel on East Parade, Rhyl on December 23.
Alec Cross, defending Lavelle, said she was a vulnerable woman with mental health problems and had not taken her pills on the day out the court outburst.
He said: “It was very stressful and she felt the security guard was being unfair towards her children,”
Magistrates court chairman David Davies told Candy Lavelle: “We are appalled at your behaviour – abusing a public servant in court.”
She was given a 12-month conditional discharge on all the offences and in addition to the compensation of £50 for Ms Powell was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £15.
