POLICE are appealing for help after a man armed with length of wood robbed staff at a Swansea petrol station.
The raider entered the Wychtree service station in Morriston just before 8pm on Tuesday night and threatened staff before making off with cash from the till.
The robber than ran from the garage forecourt towards the nearby Asda supermarket.
Police have issued a description of a man they want to talk to - he is described as being white, aged in his 20s, around 5ft 5in to 5ft 6in in height, and of a slight build. He was wearing dark-coloured jogging bottoms, a beanie cap and a black fleece jacket which was zipped up to his nose. He was carrying a piece of wood.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "Police are appealing to anyone who saw a man fitting the description in the Morriston area before or after the incident or anyone with information to come forward."
