Ban at property on Sullivan’s Rise High Street will last for three months

Nightmare neighbours have been ordered to leave a property in Connah’s Quay after local residents became fed-up of drug dealing and bad behaviour.
A closure order has been made against the premises at Sullivan’s Rise High Street after drug dealing and taking and anti-social behaviour which was making local resident’s lives a misery.
The tenants were ordered to leave today after a hearing at Wrexham Magistrates Court when the closure order was granted.
It will run for three months and will be reviewed by officers at its conclusion, police said.
Inspector Dave Jolly said police had received complaints of anti-social behaviour, drug dealing and drug taking.
He said: “It had also been used as a hub to sell drugs.
“The order was applied for by the local neighbourhood policing team, with the support of Wales and West Housing Association, in response to issues raised by residents of anti-social behaviour being committed by visitors to the address and that criminal offences were taking place at the premises.
“The order will allow the other residents to enjoy the quality of life that they are entitled to.
“The closure order was only made possible due to the assistance of the local community and we will continue to be robust in tackling criminal activity and anti-social behaviour."
