Police were called the house on Beeston Way in the village of Allerton Bywater in Leeds shortly before 12pm on Tuesday and found Ms Newman's body downstairs.
The bodies of her daughter, named locally as Shannon who is aged around 11, and her six-year-old son were found upstairs.
