POLICE in Swansea are appealing for witnesses after a van driver was set-upon by three men in the early hours of the morning.
The incident happened on Heol Emrys in Penlan on Monday, when the men approached the driver of a blue and yellow Mercedes van and demanded cash and personal property from him.
Police say the 33-year-old driver suffered minor injuries in the altercation, and was later treated at Morriston Hospital before being released.
Two men — aged 20 and 25 — have been arrested in connection with the incident, and officers are carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area.
Police are appealing for anybody who can help the investigation to come forward.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "Police are appealing to anyone with information — or anyone who saw the Mercedes van and witnessed the incident — to contact officers."
