A former taxman was jailed for a vile foul-mouthed rant - all over a £60 parking ticket.
Raging driver Gareth Tinson, 34, fired off shocking messages to a parking officer who sent reminders about his unpaid fine.A court heard council officials were shocked at the obscene language used by Tinson over the parking offence. In one message he said: "I hope it bothers you that I am using racial slurs and I'm calling you a c***"I hope it hurts that fact that I wish your children get raped, I hope your children die a slow and painful death from cancer. And I hope you f****** die c*** of the most aggressive cancer your c*** of a creator can muster for you."Send me my f****** evidence by post, you little racist c***."Tinson's ravings were read out to a stunned courtroom where he was jailed for four months for offensive messages sent online following his appeal against a parking ticket. The court heard that for three months last Autumn Tinson sent a stream of offensive, indecent and obscene messages after refusing to pay a parking ticket.
Prosecutor Rachel Anthony said: "Tinson's language used constant profanity which included harassment and other malicious communication.
"The council employee receiving the communication had never been in receipt of such abuse in 20 years."
Cardiff Magistrates Court heard that Tinson had previous convictions for similar offences aimed at HMRC where he previously worked.
His lawyer Tarick Sadiq told the court that Tinson has learned from "his mistakes, had huge remorse and needed help with his anger management issues."
District Judge Bodfan Jenkins told Tinson: "You are a man with a number of problems and the court has tried to assist you with the lenient sentences from previous offending.
"You have ignored these attempts and it is clear that the community orders have had no effect on you.
"You gave a tirade of insults and filth, the offending was gross and those subject to your abuse will get the protection from this court.
"If my powers were not severely restricted, you would be going to prison for a lot longer."
Tinson, of Porth, Rhondda, was prosecuted under the Communications Act. He was ordered to serve a further two months for breaching a previous community order.
