TWO cars were set alight in Flintshire on the weekend.
The two separate arson attacks happened 25 minutes apart from each other; the first in Park avenue, Flint, the second on Connah’s Quay High Street.
A spokesman for the fire service said the Park Avenue blaze happened at 1.20am on Sunday, and caused 100 per cent damage to the vehicle.
The Connah’s Quay fire happened at 1.45am. It is uncertain what the extent of the damage is but a Fire Service spokesman said the car was ‘well alight’ when officers arrived. No one was injured.
