Retailer Mothercare wants to leave a Llandudno shopping centre.
The company is advertising its lease for the unit at the Victoria Centre in the seaside town through commercial property giants CBRE.
It is not known if the company plans to find another site in the town or is set to leave Llandudno completely.
The current site is over 5,600 sq ft and is sited next to the Boots store.
The existing lease is due to run until 2019 but Mothercare says this lease is now available.
It would be a blow to the shopping centre but sources say that there is expected to be positive news in relation to the centre in the coming weeks.
They added that they did not believe it reflected the trading position in Llandudno but a wider change in direction for Mothercare.
In recent years Mothercare revealed plans to close some stores in the UK with a shift in focus to out-of-town shops rather than high street locations.
The lease advertisement on 'Instruction of Mothercare UK Limited' states: "The property is located in the heart of the Victoria Centre which is anchored by Boots.
"Specsavers, Dorothy Perkins and Vodafone are all in the immediate vicinity."
Mothercare were asked to respond but have not given any comment.
The Victoria Centre declined to comment.
