A second teenager from Wrexham has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
The 18-year-old man was taken into custody yesterday in connection with a night-time incident in Castlefields near Oswestry last Saturday, which saw a man sustain serious stab wounds.
It follows the arrest on Wednesday of a 19-year-old man from Coedpoeth, who has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A 51-year-old man from Welshpool has also been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and remains in police custody.
Luke Cross, 22, of Mount View, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder, one count of threats to kill and one count of threatening to cause criminal damage.
Detective Inspector Mark Jones from West Mercia Police said: “Although three arrests and one charge have been made as part of our investigation, we would still like to hear from anyone who may have information which could assist us."
