Wales,United Kingdom- These are the places you are most likely to have your home broken into in Wales

The CF23 postcode covers Cyncoed, Pentwyn, Penylan and Pontprennau

The CF23 postcode is Wales' burglary hotspot while the SA3 district has some of the lowest rates in the country

Cardiff's CF23 postcode is Wales’ number one burglary hotspot, new data has revealed.
The postcode, which covers Llanedeyrn, CyncoedPentwyn, Penylan, Pontprennau*, has seen 29.9 claims for contents thefts over the last five years per 1,000 insurance quotes issued to local householders.
The LL13 code in Wrexham has the second highest rate at 28.8 per 1,000 – this area includes the Caia Park estate, which was the scene of a race riot in June 2003.
It is followed by NP18, in the eastern part of Newport, with a rate of 27.4 per 1,000.
Swansea’s M4 corridor of Cwmrhydyceirw and Clydach (SA6) also appears in the top 20 with a rate of 14.4.
But MoneySuperMarket, who compiled the figures for their annual burglary claims tracker, say Welsh postcodes have significantly fewer burglary claims compared to England and Scotland.
There are no Welsh postcodes appearing in the UK top 20 claims hotspots.
Up to 10 Welsh postcodes, mainly in mid, west and south west Wales, have had no recorded claims for burglaries in the last five years.
The findings were based on MoneySuperMarket quotes from the last two years with the claims for contents theft going back up to five years.
