DYFED-POWYS Police has seen the largest increase in reported crime of all police authorities in Wales, new statistics show.
For the year ending September 2015, Dyfed-Powys Police force has had a nine per cent increase in recorded crime.
Violent crime is up 28 per cent and sexual offences have increased by 53 per cent.
But this comes as Dyfed-Powys Police made the fewest job cuts of all police forces in Wales.

Shadow secretary of state for Wales, Nia Griffith MP, has hit out at what she calls "disappointing" crime statistics.
She said: "Today's police stats are disappointing for Wales.
"Rates of the most serious crimes have soared and reported rape is at its highest level across the UK since 2003.
"In Wales, recorded crime has gone up by four per cent, violent crime has gone up by 23 per cent, and sexual assault has gone up by 19 per cent."
However, Dyfed-Powys Police and Crime Commissioner Christopher Salmon has said his authority remains a low-crime area and that is to be "celebrated".
"Crime and antisocial behaviour is down since my election in November 2012," he said.
"I am comfortable with the steady rise in the local year-on-year recorded crime figure given that marked improvements have been made to crime recording in Dyfed-Powys.
"However, I remain vigilant and frontline policing is a priority for me.
"There are 30 extra Dyfed-Powys Police officers this year and officers are spending 100,000 more hours on the beat thanks to investment in new IT."
A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police added: "These increases demonstrate that victims have greater confidence to report these sensitive crimes and Dyfed-Powys has invested in additional specialist staff and victim services to meet the demand and to address victims' needs.
"Victims should not suffer in silence and are encouraged to report matters to police, who will deal with their report in a sensitive and professional manner."
