Police investigate possible sheep theft near Graianog Quarry

Fourteen sheep have gone missing from near Graianog Quarry sparking calls for owners to ensure their animals are safe

Rustlers may have snatched 14 sheep from land in Gwynedd , according to police.
Officers are making inquiries after the disappearance of the animals from near Graianog Quarry.
Sgt Rob Taylor of the North Wales Rural Crime Team, urged owners to ensure there animals were safe in the area.
The offer took to Twitter social media to warn people.
He tweeted: “ 14 sheep poss stolen from nr Graianog Quarry, Gwynedd-we’re investigating,please keep ur animals safe in this area.”
In November it was reported rustlers stole 100 sheep from a farmer’s field in Pennal near Machynlleth .
It was the second theft of sheep reported from the same area in a matter of weeks.
