A SWANSEA man has been fined and banned from the road after reversing his car into a house while over the drink-drive limit.
Swansea Magistrates Court heard that Darren Lee Fowler got into the vehicle — which he had registered as off-the-road and which he was storing outside his former-partner's house in Blaenymaes — after drinking half a pint of Jack Daniel's whiskey and getting into a row with his ex.

Police found him a short distance away, and he told officers that he wanted to leave to house because because his former partner "winds him up".
The court heard he began crying while telling officers what had happened.
A breath test showed Fowler had 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Fowler, of Eagle's Place, Blaenymaes, admitted driving with excess alcohol, driving without due care and attention, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
The court heard the defendant was remorseful about what had happened.
The 27-year-old was fined a total of £295 and disqualified from driving for 16 months. He must also pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.
