Arsonists struck five times in Wrexham during the early hours of this morning, attacking cars and bins.
In the first call Wrexham firefighters were sent out at 2.17am to a blazing Vauxhall Corsa on Oak Drive in Acton.
The flames has also spread to a black Mazda car.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the Corsa was left gutted and the Mazda was damaged by the heat.
Twelve minutes later crews were out tackling a fire in Delfryn, Penycae at 2.29am. That car was also left burned out.
A short while later a further incident followed, this time in Smithfield.
Arsonists set recycling boxes alight in Bertie Road in Smithfield with firefighters on their way to the scene at 3.07am. Nearby there was a similar incident at 3.23am in Benjamin Road.
Meanwhile firefighters quelled the flames after a wheelie bin outside Travis Perkins’ Smithfield premises was set alight at around 3.27am.
