Wrexham,North Wales - Cars and recycling boxes deliberately set alight in Wrexham

FIREFIGHTERS were called to several deliberately-lit blazes in the early hours. 
A crew from Wrexham Fire Station was called to a car fire on Oak Drive in Acton at 2.17am today. The fire, which gutted the car, spread to another, causing damage to the wing mirrors, handles, indicators and paintwork on both doors. 
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said firefighters used two hosereel jets to extinguish the fire, which was out shortly after 3am. 
A crew from Johnstown then attended a car fire on the Delfryn Estate in Penycae at 2.29am. 
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the car was gutted in the fire.
There were also a number of deliberately-lit blazes in Wrexham this morning within close proximity to each other. 
A fire lit in recycling boxes on Bertie Road spread to a nearby car, causing minor external damage. 
Firefighters from Wrexham attended at 3.07am and used a hosereel water jet to put out the fire.   
A crew also dealt with a recycling box fire on Benjamin Road at 3.23am, before attending a wheelie bin blaze outside Travis Perkins on the same road at 3.27am.
