CAMERA equipment and jewellery with “high sentimental value” were stolen from a home in Bangor.
North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after the burglary on Penchwintan Road sometime between Tuesday, November 24, and Friday, November 27.
Investigating Officer DC Carl Roberts said: “Canon camera equipment and jewellery which hold high sentimental value to the victim was stolen.
“If you were in the area and saw any suspicious person or activity, or have any information about this incident we’d like to hear from you.
“Fortunately this type of crime is not common, and although the investigation into residential burglaries is a North Wales Police priority, it must also be emphasised that we need assistance from our local communities to both reduce incidents of this nature and identify those responsible.
“It is worth reminding all house holders to be vigilant at all times, always ensure your property is locked and secured and if you see any suspicious behaviour contact police immediately.”
An investigation is underway and North Wales Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen something.
Contact them on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and quote RC15181592, or contact the control room direct via the web live chat service at www.north-wales.police.uk
