Wrexham,North Wales - Teenager arrested after police officer and woman hit by car in Wrexham

Boy, 16, bailed after being held on suspicion of dangerous driving and other offences

A teenager has been arrested and bailed after a police officer was struck by a car in Wrexham .
A woman was also hit in the incident on Egerton Street near McDonalds at roughly 4am on Saturday.
A North Wales Police spokesman said a teenager, 16, was arrested and has since been bailed.
The spokesman added: "He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and other driving offences."
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We were called at about 4.15am on Saturday to reports a woman had been hit by a car on Regent Street, Wrexham.
"We sent a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and a crew in an emergency ambulance and the woman was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital with minor injuries."
PC Lewis Davies added in a tweet: "This was rota colleague of mine in Wrexham town, he was very lucky not to be seriously injured.
"Any information greatly appreciated."
