Fire crews tackled blaze on Wrexham estate, which has seen several garages set alight after motorcycle caught fire
A motorcycle caught fire and the flames spread to nearby garages in a suspected arson in Wrexham.
The vehicle set alight on a cul-de-sac at Glan Gors, Caia Park, at about 7.40pm.
Fire spread to five garages and two crews from Wrexham were still tackling the blaze at 8.45pm.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the motorcycle is likely to have been destroyed while the condition of the garages is unknown.
The spokesperson added last night: “We sent two appliances from Wrexham to a vehicle fire involving a motorcycle which was well alight at 7.38pm.
“It has spread to five garages on a cul-de-sac at Glan Gors. The fire is suspected as arson.”
