Armed officers were called to the Grangetown area just before 3pm
Three teenagers were arrested as armed police were called to a road in Cardiff on Tuesday afternoon.
South Wales Police said the three men, aged 17, 18, and 19 were arrested in connection with a reported disorder.
Armed officers were spotted at the scene near Ikea in the Grangetown area of the city shortly before 3pm.
No injuries were reported.
The teenagers are currently in custody at Cardiff Bay police station.
Witness Ross Evans said: “My son and I were in the car near Ikea.
“There were armed officers and it looked like the officers were searching vehicles.”
