A man robbed a bank armed with a knife as he threatened staff to hand over money.
Lloyds Bank has already offered a reward of up to £25,000 to anyone with information about the robbery at its Cowbridge Road East branch in Cardiff on Monday.
Armed police were called to the scene as a precaution after a “distinctively dressed” man walked into the bank armed with a knife and left with cash.

After leaving the bank, the man turned right outside the bank along Picton Place and is described as being white, around 5ft 10, in his early 30s and of a slim build.
He was wearing a dark parker waist length jacket with a large fur-lined hood and possibly a white hoody underneath, with dark jogging bottoms, white underwear with black writing on and bright white trainers with large tongues.
A notice at the Cardiff bank said it was closed 'due to an incident'
He was clean shaven and spoke with a local accent.
Detective Inspector Lloyd Williams said: “The suspect was dressed quite distinctively so we believe that people will have seen him before and after the incident in Canton or the surrounding area, or somebody who does know him may link him by the clothing.

“We also understand that Lloyds TSB has put up a generous reward of £25,000 for information that leads to a conviction which is an extra incentive for that person who knows something to come forward. We want to hear from you.”
A spokesman for South Wales Police said firearms officers were deployed to the area “as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the public and officers at the scene” following the incident.
