Woman witnessed gang of four steal till from Premier Store in Gwersyllt
A shopper has told her terror as she walked in while a knife-wielding gang held up a convenience store.
The incident took place at the Premier Stores on Wheatsheaf Lane, Gwersyllt at 9.45pm on Thursday.
Three men, one armed with a knife, entered the shop while another waited outside.
One member of staff was threatened and the robbers made off in a waiting black vehicle with the shop’s till.
The local shopper, who asked not want to be named, described the moment she came face to face with the masked gang as “a scary experience”.
She said: “There were three robbers in the shop and one standing outside. One member of staff was threatened with a knife.
The staff are worried and want them caught.”
Both women working at the time of the attack were said to be shaken by their “terrifying” ordeal.

Police have issued an appeal for information as detectives bid to catch the gang.
Detective Inspector Mark Hughes said: “This was a terrifying incident for staff and thankfully no one was hurt. I am appealing to any witnesses or anyone who may have information to contact police on 101 quoting reference V015584.”
