Wrexham,North Wales - Knife raid gang target third Wrexham shop

Three men entered Premier Stores on Victoria Road in Brynteg and made off with a till

Armed raiders threatened staff and stole cash from a shop in Wrexham in the latest in a string of robberies in the county.
Shortly after 9.30pm last night (February 5) three men entered the Premier Stores on Victoria Road in Brynteg.
One of the men was armed with a knife and threatened staff before the gang made off with two tills.
They fled the scene on foot and made off towards the Holbourn Crescent area.
No one was injured.
It is the third similar incident in Wrexham within the last week and police believe they are linked.
DS Anne-Louise Jones said: "Thankfully no one was hurt. This is the third such incident in a week, which we believe are linked.
"I am appealing to any witnesses or anyone who may have information to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference V017141."
There was a similar armed robbery involving three men at Premier Stores in Gwersyllt on Friday, February 3.
Two days earlier thieves stole a till at Bargain Booze in Heol Celyn, Coedpoeth.
