A SUSPECTED armed robbery has taken place at Pontarddulais service station.
Police have confirmed they are investigating 'an incident' at the Water Street station which occurred at 6.50pm on Monday night.
A quantity of cash is believed to have been taken during the raid. No-one is understood to have been hurt, although a female cashier was described as 'visibly upset'.

A police dog section along with five marked vehicles attended the scene.
Eyewitnesses have reported seeing a "man with a hammer" entering the station.
"There was police surrounding the garage for hours," an eyewitness said.
"I saw the worker really shaken up. Some guys with a hammer walked in and apparently took money."
