One man from Llandudno and one from Blaenau Ffestiniog are in police custody as crackdown on badger baiting begins
Two men have been arrested after a major multi-agency operation tackling animal welfare this morning.
North Wales Police's rural crime team have launched Operation Manhattan and are working with the force's dog section, RSPCA officers and vets.

The operation is aimed at cracking down on illegal badger baiting.
Two search warrants have been used by police as part of the crackdown.
One man was arrested in Llandudno and another in Blaenau Ffestiniog .
As part of the operation officers discovered some concrete kennels which did not have food, water or bedding.
Rob Taylor, team leader of the rural crime team, called the morning "very, very distressing".
He added: "I have witnessed some awful, awful stuff."
The operation is ongoing.
