Cardiff,South Wales - A huge cannabis factory has been found on one of Cardiff's busiest roads

Six men have been charged after what police described as a "£500,000 cannabis factory" was found on Cardiff's City Road

Six men have appeared in court after half a million pounds worth of cannabis was discovered near one of Cardiff’s busiest roads.
Police were alerted by a member of the public who noticed three men acting suspiciously on a lane off City Road in the early hours of Friday morning.
Officers were on the scene at the property in Castle Lane just after 3am, minutes after the initial call.
South Wales Police said five men were arrested at the scene.
A police spokesman said: “Access was gained to a building in the lane and a suspected cannabis factory was discovered in an upstairs room.
“Another man was arrested within the building.”
All six were charged with the production of cannabis and have been remanded in custody.
Gesim Dauti, 54, appeared in Cardiff Magistrates' Court and is due to appear at Cardiff Crown Court on February 20.
Vjosano Baho, 23, Anil Ismailaj, 30, Drini Ismailas, 29, Indrit Musaku, 21, and Emiljo Peba, 21, pleaded not guilty and are due to appear at Cardiff Crown Court on March 6.
