SENTENCING of a sex offender, who was previously warned he faces a significant prison sentence, has been adjourned.
Dean Peter Rutter last month admitted a number of sexual offences against young boys.
Rutter, 40, of Frog Lane, Abenbury, was originally facing 29 allegations against three complainants.
At Mold Crown Court, the number of charges was reduced to 15 and he admitted them all “on the full facts of the case”.
He was due to be sentenced last Thursday after he pleaded guilty to eight charges of sexual assault, four charges of rape, two charges of attempted rape and one charge of causing a child to engage in sexual activity.
However the court heard the prosecution did not have victim impact statements available.
Judge Parry said in such a case, it was vital he had the full picture and regrettably the case would have to be adjourned.
Rutter, who was arrested in November last year, was remanded in custody pending sentence on Wednesday at Caernarfon Crown Court.
