Crispin Lane has been closed off and firearms officers have pointed guns at the property
Armed police have surrounded a house in Wrexham.
Shocked residents reported seeing armed officers point guns at a property on Crispin Lane sometime before 2.50pm today.
Eyewitnesses heard officers shouting at the occupant of the house to leave the property.
Zoe Roberts tweeted: “Armed police on Crispin Lane!!! Looked through my blinds and nearly had a heart attack @wrexham.”
Residents have reported that police officers with a dog unit also arrived on the street earlier today at around 6.15am.
It is not yet known if the two incidents are connected.
One police vehicle remains on the scene at 5.30pm.
The Daily Post has contacted North Wales Police for a comment.
