A 20-YEAR-OLD is recovering after allegedly being hit from behind at a Llanelli nightclub at the weekend.
Toby Williams was in the smoking deck of Shakers Nightclub, formerly known as Bar Luna, between 2am and 3am on Sunday morning when he was the victim of the unprovoked attack, allegedly being struck to the back of the head.
After being carried on a stretcher to the outside by the fire service, he was rushed to Glangwili Hospital for observation.
The youngster, who lives in the Burry Port area, was released after 24 hours, but has now returned as he is not feeling right after the incident.

One of Toby's friends, Finbar Hannaford had left the club slightly earlier, but returned to be by his friend's side after he discovered what happened.
He claimed: "Toby is the harmless one in the background. He was literally hit from behind.
"It is lucky it happened in the smoking shelter as that's the only place where there is CCTV.
"Myself and all of his friends are wishing him all the best."
Paul Francis, of agency Anyone Waiting, which provided staff to the venue that night, was one of the people who helped Toby on the evening.
He said: "Myself and the rest of the staff looked after him, an ambulance was called and the rest was looked after.
"Our staff are trained up to deal with these types of incidents, and when people are really ill on a Saturday night it may take a longer period of time for the ambulance crew to arrive as the demand is high.

"When things are critical like they were with Toby it could have gone either way and could have been very different. We definitely wish him well.
A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Police are investigating an assault which occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, November 27, in the smoking area of Shakers Nightclub, Llanelli.
"A 20-year-old male was taken to hospital for treatment.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Llanelli police on 101."
